NOTE 1: The 1989 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird underwent a mid-cycle revision for the Brake Proportioning Valve. The two different valves are identical on the outside but have a different thread pitch. The ONLY way to identify which thread pitch your Camaro/Firebird is equipped with is to loosen the Master Cylinder Lines and check the fittings! See the below Figure for examples of each thread.
