Residual Pressure Valve (SKU: RPV10)
A crucial component designed to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of your drum brake system. This valve maintains a consistent 10 psi of residual pressure in the brake lines, ensuring quicker brake engagement and reducing pedal travel by preventing fluid backflow and keeping the brake shoes in optimal position.
Key Features:
- Consistent Brake Pressure: Maintains 10 psi residual pressure in drum brake systems, ensuring immediate brake engagement and reducing pedal travel.
- Prevents Fluid Backflow: Acts as a one-way check valve, preventing brake fluid from flowing back into the master cylinder, which is essential when the master cylinder is mounted at or below the level of the wheel cylinders.
- Enhanced Brake Responsiveness: Keeps brake shoes close to the drum, allowing for quicker response times during braking.
- Durable Construction: Crafted from high-quality materials with an anodized finish for corrosion resistance and longevity.
- Universal Compatibility: Suitable for various drum brake applications, making it an ideal choice for custom builds and brake conversions.
